"WELCOME to 'Amy's Mink'! A Historic Sight. We're Friendly, Old Fashioned and Simple...We like it that way... Hope you will too!"
Do you ever wonder what 'Cabin Life' was like over a half century ago?
Considered a 'Historic Site', 'Amy's Mink' is one of the oldest originalcabins built on Lake Greenwood. She was built nearly 60-years ago! Although we have outfitted her with all the modern conveniences Our Grand-father (JC Thomas and once mayor of Clinton, SC) named her after our Grandmom Amy. He built her for his (and our) favorite sports: recreation, fishing, hunting and "kicked back" relaxing. We keep her historic for the omni once and for memories. We also are reminded of how it use to be, when things were simple, meaningful and easy-going.
Our cabin is spacious inside and outside with a large living & dining area, and fireplace (unvented natural gas) that heats the cabin as well. She sits on the original lot measuring 100' X 250' of flatland. Strategically located on the "main-lake"(Between Cane Creek and T-Roys Landing) our cabin is secured for more privacy, less traffic and a large flat front yard with a shallow shoreline for relaxed family recreation. The cabin is on the eastern shoreline slap-dab in the middle of this approximate 24-mile beautiful lake with numerous creeks and two rivers that feed her. If you have never been to Lake Greenwood Cabin 'Amy's Mink' then you are in for a treat!
